Privacy policy
Effective October 9, 2026. The short version: we collect only what it takes to run your account and your courses, we never sell it, and you can have it deleted at any time.
What this policy covers
This policy explains what information Raahaao collects through this website (raahaao.com), the Raahaao Learning platform at raahaao.com/learn and the Raahaao Code app inside it, how that information is used, and the choices you have.
Developer beta
Raahaao is in developer beta until its full launch on October 17, 2026. During the beta, accounts are meant for beta testers. Things may change, break or be reset while we fix them; your account, purchases and progress are kept through the beta and carried into the full launch. If something goes wrong, tell us at sales@raahaao.com.
What we collect
What we collect depends on how you use the site:
- Contact form or email: your name, your email address and whatever you write to us.
- A Raahaao Learning account: your name (if you give one), your email address and a password, the date you accepted this policy, which courses you've bought, and which lessons you've completed.
- Raahaao Code: your progress through each tower (lessons, floor tests, project scores), the code you submit for a project together with its corrector report, and which tower you chose for your free first lesson.
- Purchases: a record of what you bought and when. Payment itself happens on Stripe's pages; we never see or store your card details. If you buy a pick-your-own bundle, we also record which towers you unlocked with its credits.
- Monthly plans: which towers your plan includes, its status, renewal date, the currency and the dates of any swaps, plus the Stripe customer and subscription IDs that link it to your payments.
- Certificates: when you register a certificate we store its ID, the name you typed, the tower, the date and your project scores. Anyone who has the ID can check it on the public verify page, which shows exactly those details and nothing else about you. "Add to LinkedIn" only opens LinkedIn with the certificate's name and ID filled in; we send nothing to LinkedIn ourselves.
- Problem reports: if you use "Report a problem" (in the right-click menu or the page footer), we keep what you wrote, the page you were on and your browser's name. If you are signed in, the report is linked to your account; if not, we keep the email you chose to give (if any) and a scrambled code made from your internet address, which we use only to limit how many reports one connection can send each day and which cannot be turned back into the address. We use reports only to fix problems and reply, and delete them once they are no longer needed (at the latest when you delete your account).
- Lesson watermark: while you are signed in, lesson and project pages show a faint watermark with your email address and the date, on your own screen only. It is not sent anywhere; it discourages copying of the course material.
The marketing site sets no analytics, no advertising trackers and no cookies.
How we use it
Your contact-form message is used to reply to you and to scope your project. Account information is used to sign you in, give you access to the courses you've bought, and remember your progress so you can pick up where you left off on any device. Project submissions are kept so you can see your report again and so we can fix the corrector if it marks something wrong. None of it is ever sold, and none of it is shared for marketing.
The AI mentor review
In Raahaao Code you can ask for an AI mentor review of a project, or press "Ask about my code" in a lesson. Only when you press one of those buttons, the code you wrote, the task it was written for and the result of running it are sent to Cloudflare Workers AI, which generates the feedback. Nothing is sent unless you ask, your name and email address are never included, and the feedback is not stored by us. Cloudflare handles that request under the Cloudflare privacy policy. Each account can ask for a limited number of reviews per day; we keep a daily count, not the content.
Accounts and learner progress
Creating a Raahaao Learning account is separate from browsing this website. Your account, the courses you've bought, your lesson progress and your Raahaao Code submissions are stored in a database operated by Supabase, our authentication and database provider. Your password is never visible to us in readable form. You can ask us to delete your account and its data at any time by writing to sales@raahaao.com; we'll confirm once it's done.
Your consent
When you create an account, you tick a box to confirm that you have read and accept this policy, the terms of service and the refund policy. We record the date you did so with your account. You can withdraw your consent at any time by asking us to delete your account.
How long we keep it
Account data, purchases, progress and submissions are kept for as long as your account exists. Purchase records may be kept longer where tax law requires it. Contact-form messages are kept only as long as needed for the conversation and any project that comes out of it.
Browser storage
This site uses localStorage to keep your theme and language preference on your device and, if you're signed in, your session. Raahaao Code also keeps a copy of your progress in your browser so lessons work smoothly; it is synced to your account. It also remembers the currency prices are shown in. The first time, that currency is picked from your browser's own time zone and language settings, on your device: we do not look up your location, and nothing about it is sent to us. If you click Buy before signing in, the product you chose is kept in your browser for up to one hour, so that signing in can take you straight to its checkout; it is deleted as soon as it is used. This storage stays in your browser and is not tracking. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
Messages from the contact form, or sent directly, go to sales@raahaao.com. Account emails (confirming your address, resetting your password) are sent through Supabase.
Your rights under PIPEDA
Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or withdraw your consent to our keeping it. Write to sales@raahaao.com and we will act on your request.
Third-party services
We use a small number of providers, each only for the job described:
- Supabase: accounts, purchase records, progress and submissions.
- Stripe: payments, on Stripe's own pages and under Stripe's terms.
- cdnjs (Cloudflare): the certificate page loads its QR-code tool from cdnjs; the QR code itself is made in your browser.
- Cloudflare Workers AI: the AI mentor review, only when you ask for it.
- Google Fonts: pages load fonts from Google's servers; see the Google privacy policy.
- Code runners: some Raahaao Code lessons run your code in your browser; C++ and Java code is compiled by a public online compiler (Compiler Explorer or Wandbox), which receives only the code being run.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with an updated effective date. If the change is significant, we will tell account holders by email.
